On January 13th, 2009 APCC in partnership with the Massachusetts Bays Program, Cape Cod Commission's Project Storm, Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee, Massachusetts Coastal Training Program and the Massachusetts Environmental Trust, hosted a Stormwater Financing Workshop to discuss municipal stormwater financing options.

Newton was one of the first communities in Massachusetts to set up a stormwater “utility”.  This talk will describe how it works, what it is based on, how the fees are assessed and used, and lessons learned.
