Programs and Projects

Underlying all of the work of APCC is the profound understanding that Cape Cod is a simple land, made up of sand and water. These are its defining ingredients, the source of its allure and of its vulnerability. This fundamental principle translates into a cohesive program of advocacy under which APCC works for the adoption of laws, policies and programs that protect and enhance Cape Cod's natural resources and quality of life.

Through its programs and projects APCC seeks to instill an environmental ethic in all who care about Cape Cod. Our goal is that our region and towns place preservation of our natural landscapes, wildlife habitat and agricultural lands and the protection of the quality of our wetlands, freshwater ponds, coastal bays and groundwater resources at the forefront of our land use decisions.
